Below is a small sample piece of one of the steps in the process guide. All of the steps are in order and tell you what should be done next in an easy, linear fashion.
- Ideation sketching, round 1
Take your list of potential new ideas from the brainstorming session and begin to make sketches of what new, alternative, or modified versions of the product may look and work like. Take the ideas that you feel may make a good product solution, but seem too far–out to be practical and try to think of how you may make them real and manufacturable, and consider this form of the idea when you sketch it. You should have many, many sketches of potential product ideas and variations of those ideas after you are done.
